Aristotle

all works of Aristotle fall into one of four groups:

1. arganon - logos (speech), of which Categories (predicates) is a member
2. theoretical - which has two subgroups
   1. natural being - things that move and change, Physics, De Anima ("on the soul"; we'll study this one next)
   2. first philosophy - the unchanging, Metaphysics
3. practical - ethics and politics
4. productive - arts, rhetoric, poetic
