Prior Knowledge

Two types of prior knowledge:

  1. that sometghing exists or is true
  2. a definition

Both could be the case.

Demonstration

A demonstration is a syllogism that produces scientific knowledge.

Demonstration of scientific knowledge is

  1. the knowing the cause of something and
  2. that nothing else could be the cause.
