Theology is the "study of God" Philosophy is the "love of wisdom"
Divine revelation elevates theology above philosophy, beyond human reason
We accept some things as truth without personally verifying:
- Received tradition (because we were told so from a young age)
- "Natural Belief" (contrast with faith) - things that come from reason
