Job Interview
- Dress your best: brush your shirt, shave, …
- Give fresh copy of résumé (printed on parchment paper)
- Shake hands firmly and confidently, but not too creazily -- Make eye contact
- You are there to give an impression (tell a story) of yourself: have a plan!
- Do this exercise: night before, sit quietly, think of (write) the 5 best qualities that set you apart and would get you the job; memorize them. Work them into your answers
- Proxemics: distance between communicators; don't let the environment of the interview throw you off.
For situational question, think about it for a moment. "Hmmm... (2 seconds) Well, "
Close with "Thank you. I would really like to work here, and I really hope you'll consider me." (Only if you really want the job)
"Traveling" Interview
You are on display the entire time you are there!
