Glycolysis
- Occurs in Cytosol
 - Anaerobic

Krebs Cycle
- Occurs in Mitochondria
 - Aerobic (requires O2)

Oxidative Phosphorylation
a.k.a. Electron Transport Chain LOTS of ATP.
- DPIP, normally a blue color, was used as electron acceptor in experiment.
 - Reduced to DPIPH2, which is clear. (Absorbance decreases)

TTC tests for working respiration
Inhibitors
- Competetive
 - binds to active site of enzyme
 - Malonate was inhibitor in experiment
 - Noncompetetive
 - binds to other place on enzyme to change shape of active site

OIL RIG: Oxidation Is Loss, Reduction Is Gain
